JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title:           MACHINE TOOL OPERATOR

Machine Tool Operator shall be able to operate all kinds of machine tools such as vertical and horizontal boring machines, lathes, mills, grinders, shapers and drills. Machine Tool Operator shall be able to perform machining operations required in the fabrication and repair of parts such as shafts, bearings, pulleys, couplings, bushings, gears, sprockets and valve seats, and shall be able to set up and adjust the machine, select proper speed, machine the parts, observe the operation and check for accuracy with appropriate gauges and measuring instruments. Machine Tool Operator shall be able to read blueprints and take instructions in English and shall have a minimum of five (5) years experience in operating machine tools.
