SUMMARY
STATEMENT:
Responsible for conduct the classes for educating & training the RSNF trainee in the field of Computer Science in naval environments.
Administers & monitors Computer Laboratory.
The incumbent must be conversant with different computer systems & their uses for educational and training purposes.
Awareness of global trends in the curriculum development, competence to review & develop the curricula is mandatory.
Cooperate with the other departments for the effective use of computer equipments by assisting and providing utility programs or system software facility. Responsible to maintain students log book for lesson plans, attendance, conduct and discipline in the class, testing and monitor the monthly progress in the subject of Computer Science.
EDUCATION:
Master degree in Computer Science from a recognized University.
Advance qualification and training on the designing and implementing the Computer Base Training System is mandatory.
EXPERIENCE:
Certification as an Instructor is mandatory. 6 to 8 years of Data processing with Computer's Programming experience including at least 4 years of teaching excellence in Computer Science is required. Use of Computer Science Laboratory for program in Basic, FORTRAN, 'C', COBOL, Natural & SQL etc. Language is mandatory. Knowledge of modern concept of ADP, use of PC's and Artificial Intelligence is required.
PHYSICAL AND/OR OTHER SPECIFIC
REQUIREMENTS:
Prior to occupancy of this billet, the incumbent must have passed a complete physical and dental examination. The incumbent age must not exceed 45 years.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design and conduct instructions to the Royal Saudi Naval Forces students in Computer Science which includes: Digital techniques, flow charting, numerical methods, computer programming, Operations Analysis and Research.

Schedules and directs laboratory assignments pertain to Computer Science and able to supervise students project work and problem solving in computers.

Develops, design and prepare student handout/task book and exercises manual in the field of Computer Science to be used in the classroom and laboratory work, based on instructional materials approved by the RSNF.

Responsible to maintain the students log book for lesson plans, attendance, conduct and discipline in the class, testing and generate monthly progress report in the subject of Computer Science.

Coordinate with Planning Department for Computer Software application and students administration and control.
