SUMMARY
STATEMENT:
The mission of the Naval Forces School is to provide Royal Saudi Naval Forces personnel with specialized training to prepare them for future. The AIMS IFF Instructor/Technician Mnt is responsible for conducting training in the operation and maintenance of the AIMS MK-12 IFF. The incumbent must coordinate through his supervisor all departmental matters requiring interface with outside agencies under the direction of the Manager, Combat training School.
EDUCATION:
High school or trade school graduate. The incumbent must be fluent in English. (A working knowledge of Arabic is desirable) EXPERIENCE:
Six (6) years experience in radar and electronics equipment systems, which includes two (2) years instructional experience in military or industrial training programs and two (2) years MK-12 IFF maintenance experience. Three (3) years of job related experience is deemed equivalent to one (1) year of formal education.
PHYSICAL AND/OR OTHER SPECIFIC
REQUIREMENTS:
Prior to the occupancy of this billet, the incumbent must have passed a complete physical and dental examination. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Instructs students to operate and maintain the AIMS-IFF MK-12.

Organizes instructional materials such as instructor guides, audiovisual support and evaluation procedures. Maintains student records and prepares reports as required.

Validates course material. Works closely with the Curriculum Development Division.

Maintains office hours to provide technical guidance to students.

Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on the AIMS-IFF MK-12 for the NFS.

Prepares and maintains all maintenance related records and reports concerning the AIMS-IFF MK-12.
