EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university. Past experience in Radar Engineering to include:
-
A minimum of Five years experience in Radar Engineering.

A minimum of Three years experience in engineering FBS117 radar system.
-
Must also have experience in engineering TBS72 radar system.
-
Preferably a retired (engineer officer) that has worked in this field and with these systems for ten years.

Must have training experience within this field with experience in training certification and curricula preparations to include OJT with general knowledge in computer networks and all its terminals.

Must have had advance courses and certified in the TBS72 and FBS117 radar systems.

Good knowledge of Air Force systems.

Experienced in tracking down, diagnosing, analyzing and troubleshooting the system and equipment malfunctions.

Experienced in organizing research, studies and able in identifying system requirements.

Have good command of written and spoken English.

Have good command and experience in computer operation and usage.

Experience in Planning and conducting independent work within a work unit which requires judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
PHYSICAL AND/OR OTHER SPECIFIC
REQUIREMENTS:
All applicants must pass a educational certification check, back ground check, medical and drug tests and examination prior to acceptance for this position as required by the host country
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Research, Develop and implement the system operational capabilities and procedures.

Study, review, analysis, organize and develop the system procedures and concepts.

Assist all users in identifying requirements and study of new systems.

Provide Technical advice and support in Radar devises, equipment and maintenance.

Track down, troubleshoot and repair radars.
-
Study, analysis and provide engineering solutions for radar systems breakdowns problems.
-
Provide technical consultation and engineering analysis to deal with problems and reoccurring problems and upgrades to ensure the radar performance and efficiency.

Ensure all operational procedures, books and manuals are available, complete and updated and that all work is being performed as per operational procedures, books and manuals.

Make improvements and recommendations for improvements of operational procedures, PM procedures etc.. Maintain system to high standard of operation.

Coordinate all system requirements etc. with authorizing agency to ensure operations are undisturbed.

Check the radar electronic circuit boards. Devise new approaches to solving problems.

Participate in all radar maintenance by following the Air Force maintenance system.

Able take direction and accept any work assignments given by host country officers or managers to enhance or develop system performance.

Organize, create, prepare and provide continuous curricula and training on the systems for the Air Force personnel either in the classroom or in the work area (OJT).

Must be able to take the initiative and be able to think on his feet.
