SUMMARY
STATEMENT:
Provide staff support to
the Director, Weapons and Ammunition Department in all matters relating to
Weapons, Ammunition, Missiles, and Torpedoes.
Provides expertise in the
corresponding fields of activities.
EDUCATION:
This position requires a
broad professional understanding of weapons and ammunition acquired through
specialized in: safety, logistics, expertise, disposal, maintenance of
ammunition, missiles, and torpedoes.
EXPERIENCE:
Ten (10) years experience
in safety, logistics, expertise, disposal maintenance of ammunition,
missiles, and torpedoes. Three (3) years in management and supervisory
position in weapons and ammunition administration.
PHYSICAL AND/OR OTHER SPECIFIC
REQUIREMENTS:
Prior to occupancy of this
billet, the incumbent must have passed a complete physical and dental
examination.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

20% - Advise in all the
fields relates to Weapons and Ammunition Department activities
(organization, documentation, safety, logistics, maintenance, disposal
infrastructure,...) and prepares the corresponding directives and
correspondence.

20% - Reviews incoming
documents (technical documents, re-certification reports, firing failure
reports,…) analyzes, comments, proposes and prepares appropriate actions.

5% - Prepares plans of
actions and monitors their implementation.

5% - Conducts general
engineering studies of pyrotechny buildings and their laying out.

5% - intervenes in quality
of users in automated data processing activities (requirements, program
validation and modification).

20% - Implements Standard
Operating Procedures (SOP) for the RSNF Weapons and Ammunition Department to
maintain continuity with future growth.

20% - Departs guidance and
assists in the planning and implementation of training for the Weapons and
Ammunition Department.

5% - Coordinates ad
follow-up the spare parts requisitions for missiles and workshop equipment.
The RSNF may designate this
billet as a training billet. The incumbent will be required to impart his
knowledge of duties and responsibilities in such a manner as to permit
assimilation on the part of the RSNF trainee.
